I’m an artist; Carl has been photographing my paintings for over 5 years. I am so pleased with how clean and authentic my reproductions look. It’s a collaborative process with Carl; he shows me the image on a tablet while he’s shooting, and gives me the opportunity to evaluate the image as he adjusts accordingly and reshoots. My paintings have uneven edges so there is also considerable work on the computer beyond shooting the image, and again- we are collaborative partners until I am satisfied with the image.
